Prom is just around the corner. It is never too early to start booking.
Today, I went with a smoked purple eye, and to enhance this look, glitter was added (upon request). I was never a fan of glitter because I often times think it can change a look from sultry to juvenile. I was pleasantly surprised by the outcome. It added a bit extra to this look and made it more unique for me. I used all shades of purple for my eyes, and it was just enough to give me a nice smokey eye.
CANDI PINK glitter;;
The best way I’ve found to apply it is hairspray. I sprayed the table, dabbed my finger in it, placed it on my lid, then dabbed my finger in the glitter to apply it where I had put the hair spray. It stayed perfectly, and extremely easy to do. So much control when using your fingers. And this vile should last you forever and a day.
Because of how dark my eyes were, I thought I would ideally go a more neutral route. I’m not into gloss by any means, nor do I like gloss in my lipsticks. So going with a brown was the perfect compromise. I used a deep plum lip liner to make it more defined and that was enough for me! Making sure my contour was up to par was also a big part. I used a lighter bronze “Gold bake”, then using a dark one underneath “Dark bake”, and of course, my favorite blush, “excessive”.
Quick transformation.
Those who know me, I NEVER EVER post even close to a nakey face on facebook, but I do, in this case, think it’s perfectly acceptable to show the difference makeup can make.
Eyes Brows: I drew them on with an eye shadow “Trashed”. For me, they end up looking so much better this way. They’re extremely blended, and as dark as I want them to be.
Eyes: Kitty Cat, Plum, Kohl Liner, and Candi Pink.
Contour/blush: Gold Bake, Dark Bake, and excessive.
Lips: Sex Kitten, and deep plum liner.
